Example C1

Jesus forfeits his own right to eternal life.

The Foreword makes the claim:

> that Jesus forfeits his own right to eternal life, for he states
that in order to have eternal life we must obey the Law of Moses,
which he breaks himself repeatedly. Most amusing.

The Did You Know section lists the following verses:

- Jesus forfeits his right to eternal life?
> Mt.19:17 + Mt.5:39 + Mt.5:44 + (Mt.26:26-28 + Jn.6:53-59)

And here is the proof:

Matthew 19
A Rich Man Refuses to Follow Jesus
(Mk. 10:17-31; Lk. 18:18-30)
16 A man came to Jesus and asked,
Teacher, what good thing must I do to have eternal life?
17 Jesus answered, Why do you ask me about what is good?
Only God is good. But if you want to have eternal life,
obey the law’s commands
.

Here Jesus clearly does NOT see himself as God, nor as good for
that matter, it really is confusing, sometimes he is, sometimes
he is not... How about some clarity and certainty?

But that is a minor matter compared with this:
His exhortation to "obey the law’s commands" is clearly a case
of "do as I say and not as I do" for Jesus, the radical extremist,
rarely misses an opportunity to turn that very law on its head.
We have caught Jesus here, and in the biggest possible way, and
the issue is this: if the above statement is true then clearly Jesus,
whom the NT4 indisputably shows to be in serial breach of some
of the most fundamental provisions of the Law of Moses, has
forfeited his right to "eternal life" – and will all Christians please
read that again, and slowly.
Alternatively, if the above statement is NOT true then we cannot
trust anything that Jesus is reported to have said and in that
case, to put it bluntly, why bother reading the Gospels at all?
It is a stark and unpleasant choice for Christians to have to make.
But that is not our problem.

May we hear no more criticism of prophet Muhammad!
May we hear no more criticism of the Quran!
