Example C2

Jesus DOES claim to be the Son of God.

The Foreword makes the claim:

> that, although denied by Muslims, Jesus DOES claim to be the
son of God for we found no less than 31 verses in the 4 Gospels
that confirm it, and there are many more waiting to be listed.

The Did You Know section lists the following verses:

- Jesus DOES claim to be the son of God?
> Appendix C2 (list of 31 cases)

This is Appendix C2:

Appendix C2

Christianity - List of 31 Jesus Son of God verses

Verses of the NT4 (The Gospels) where Jesus claims,
directly or indirectly, to be the Son of God:

Matthew:
10:32 - 10:33 - 11:27 - 12:50 - 15:13 - 16:17 - 16:27 -
18:19 - 18:35 - 24:36 - 26:39 - 26:42 - 26:53 - 26:64

Mark:
14:62 - 15:2

Luke:
22:70 - 23:46

John:
6:27 - 6:46 - 10:36 - 10:37 – 11:4 - 14:6 - 14:7 - 14:13 -
15:23 - 15:24 - 17:1 - 17:2 - 17:5

31 (thirtyone) in total so far, and there are many more,
John is full of them.
Should anyone take the time to perform a thorough and
complete count, do please let us know the final score.
Probably over 100 times.

And here is the proof:

(here we present only a few of those 31 verses but these are some
of the clearest and most emphatic and on their own are already
sufficient as proof but of course all the others reinforce the case)

(verses and lines present in the book at this place but not relevant
to this argument have been left out here)

Matthew 26
63 But Jesus said nothing. Again the high priest
said to Jesus, You are now under oath. I command
you by the power of the living God to tell us the truth.
Tell us, are you the Christ, the Son of God?
64 Jesus answered, Yes, that’s right.
...

Mark 14
Mk.14:61 But Jesus said nothing to answer him.
The high priest asked Jesus another question:
Are you the Christ, the Son of the blessed God?
Mk.14:62 Jesus answered, Yes, I am the Son of God.
...

Luke 22
Lk.22:70 They all said, Then are you the Son of God?
Jesus said to them, You are right in saying that I am.
...

Note that initially Jesus says nothing. This will be addressed
shortly (Mt.27:11-14).

Calling all Muslims: here Jesus answers in the affirmative,
in 3 of the 4 Gospels, and the KJV agrees, that YES he is,
meaning claims to be, Christ, the son of God
(Christ from Greek: christo=messiah=the anointed=the king).
That is 3 more for the list then, see Appendix C2.

John, annoyingly, is silent on this particular question at this
particular point BUT in an earlier session of arguing with the
Jewish leaders he reports Jesus as saying:

John 10
Jn.10:36 So why do you accuse me of insulting God
for saying, ‘I am God’s Son’?
I am the one God chose and sent into the world.
Jn.10:37 If I don’t do what my Father does,
then don’t believe what I say.

That is 2 more son of God verses for the list, see Appendix C2.
